Just to prove that not every thing in the garden’s rosy or blue, here is a cheerful yellow evening primrose, Oenothera missouriensis. This one must be the great grandchild of the original plant and it is growing some distance from that original plant. Each year they pop up somewhere else and I have noticed that they are starting to appear in the neighbours’ gardens too. It’s lovely to be able to give away the little stars of the garden ; )
And yes, those are raindrops. Sigh.
