The singing of the bells

Wild plum blossom (Prunus cerasifera)

Sun glazed Sunday,
Sounds on still air-
Church bells singing,
Churchyard whispers,
sleep of centuries,
Chaffinch anthem,
water trickle,
willow sunburst
wild plum promise,
Perfect.

St Martin’s, Bremhill

  1. It was a glorious day for a walk wasn’t it? I’ve been to Bremhill, but not to the places you’ve shown in your post. Must go there again and rediscover anew…
